Are there writing curriculums for my homeschooled student with language difficulties?
Please note: I have not used any of these curricula. These are recommendations from other tutors/teachers.
Writing Skills by Diana Hanbury King
Diana Hanbury King was an Orton-Gillingham Fellow.
Grades: 2nd to 9th

Institute for Excellence in Writing
“Our methods are designed to develop a student's organization skills (structure) and artistic flair (style).” -IEW website
Grades: 3rd to 12th
Teaching Basic Writing Skills by Judith Hochman
“The two primary goals of this program are to raise the linguistic complexity of students’ sentences and to improve the organization of their compositions”. If your goals are to help your student write better sentences and organize their writing, this might be a good fit for you.
Note: I believe this curriculum is out of print, so it is expensive. This is a link to ThriftBooks, but check around to see if anyone is selling it for less.
The Hochman Method
Besides writing “Teaching Basic Writing Skills”, Judith also developed The Hochman Method, a full writing framework that includes teacher trainings, a book (“The Writing Revolution”), online resources, etc. If you want to fully dive into the world of teaching writing skills, you can be trained in the The Hochman Method.

Paragraphology®
Taken from The Jemicy School (developers of Paragraphology®):
“Students are systematically taught a formula that guides them through the process of writing a basic paragraph to a comprehensive understanding of the five-paragraph essay.”
Paragraphology® is a method, not just a curriculum. Teachers and parents are trained in the method and then apply it to their teaching of writing. Again, if you want to fully dive into the world of teaching writing skills, you can be trained in Paragraphology®. However, there are also curriculum books available for purchase, and a Paragraphology® app for students to use.
