OGStar App

More info about the app can be found here.

Homeschool Curriculums

If you are a homeschooler, there are some phonics curriculums that could support your student (more on this coming later).

Tutoring

Lower-intensity tutoring:

  • 45 minutes-1 hour per week

  • Great for students who learn language skills more quickly, and have a smaller gap between their skills and those of their peers

Higher-intensity tutoring:

  • 1.5 hours+ per week

  • Great for students who learn more slowly, and have a large skill gap

More information can be found here.

Tutoring + Homework

Completing homework assignments in-between sessions can reinforce + speed up learning. Let me know if you would like me to give homework assignments.

I charge $20/month for homework, as creating homework requires extra time from me.

Parent/Tutor Training

The Bowman’s Orton-Gillingham “Plus” is a great option. This is the Orton-Gillingham training I received (2021). There were teachers and tutors in our group, but also parents who wanted to learn how to provide intervention for their students at home.
